Mindy Vernon

Sr. Litigation Paralegal

Mindy is the firm’s Senior Litigation Paralegal.  Mindy began working in the legal industry in 2007 and has handled a wide variety of litigation matters during her 17+ year career. Mindy is well-versed in the handling of cases brought in state, federal, and appellate courts. Throughout her career, Mindy has handled complex litigation matters, managed sizeable trial teams, and assisted at trials and hearings in numerous jurisdictions.  Mindy spent a portion of her career in Texas because of her family’s Navy ties, but we are so thankful that she has returned to Tennessee to resume her paralegal practice here with our firm.

At BuildLaw, Mindy works closely with clients, attorneys, and other staff to develop, organize, and execute effective strategies through all stages of a matter. For example, she regularly assists with summarizing documentation, drafting pleadings, discovery requests and responses, conducting research, writing memos, engaging in hearing and trial preparation, and a variety of other projects related to litigating a matter from inception to appeal.  Clients appreciate Mindy’s responsive and proactive approach to their matters, in addition to her efficient and effective work on their behalf.

In her free time, Mindy loves spending time with her family and traveling.
